This publication is the Maryland State Board for Higher Education's second edition of its Admissions and Financial Aid manual using a new format developed in 1977. The manual provides statewide, comprehensive information for Maryland residents who are seeking educational opportunities beyond high school, and it is both comparative and explanatory. The contents are as follows: general admissions and financial aid information; federal, state, and privately funded financial aid programs; undergraduate programs of study offered by four-year and two-year public and private colleges and universities; programs of study at state-approved career institutions; institutional profiles of four-year and two-year colleges and universities; student transfer policies of the State Board for Higher Education; and a glossary of educational terms. Eligibility requirements and application procedures for financial aid programs and admissions requirements, tuition, and mandatory fees of colleges are included. (SW)
