Project activities primarily consisted of curriculum-writing workshops conducted for 503 educators in ten state regions. Workshops included career education orientation, procedures for career education curriculum infusion, and technical assistance in the writing process. The internal evaluation activities focused on assessing the process of infusing career education through career education-curriculum-writing workshops. Internal evaluations also included a critique of the workshop products. To some degree all of the following project objectives were met: (1) to reach a broad sample of teachers, levels K-12, (2) to increase receptivity to career education knowledge and improve career education implementation skills, (3) to familiarize 500 teachers with the set of Basic Learner Outcomes for Career Education and (4) the process used to infuse Basic Learner Outcomes into Subject matter, (5) to familiarize 500 teachers with steps on writing learning activity modules, (6) to develop a process of transmitting career education techniques to classroom teachers, (7) to produce 600 usable learning activities, and (8) to introduce teachers to available business, labor, and community resources as a means for infusing career education.
