The final report details activities of a 3-year child abuse and neglect program which provided community and professional education about child abuse as well as treatment services (individual counselinq, crisis intervention, medical care, and homemaking services). Implementation pproblems and operation issues (including staff turnover and the use of volunteers) are cited. Progress toward six project goals (such as the coordination of community-wide child abuse services) is summarized; project management and worker satisfaction are discussed; and client data is analyzed in terms of client flow, client characteristics, and quality of case management. A final section of the report addresses the project's impact on the community. (CL)
