The manual (part of the training package, "Individual Program Planninq with Developmentally Disabled Persons", IPP) presents suggestions for administering training in individual program planning and for maintaining the IPP system. Discussed are the contents of the IPP training package, descriptions of the six training sessions, policies for the training sessions, size and composition of the training groups, the responsibilities of the person in charge of training, sample questions and comments that may be heard from group members, and strategies for dealing with hostile groups. Suggestions for maintaining an IPP system (review procedures, review schedules) are also included. (BD)
