Preparing Teenagers for Parenthood. A Recommended "How To" Guide for Youth Development.
All of Preparing Teenaqers for Parenthood (PTP)'s major theoretical planning and programatic components are contained in this program guide, which is intended to serve as a basic "how to" resource for agencies who must deal with the increasing number of unprepared teenage parents. Basic program components discussed concern community needs assessment and selected demographic data, goals and objectives, design and delivery methods, promotion (agency and community), group recruitment, group process and formation, basic curriculum and resources, personnel and budget, and impact and effect of a P.T.P.- Youth Development Program. A revised program design, sample evaluation and staff time sheets, program resources, and lists of National Federation of Settlements and Neighborhood Centers P.T.P.(1973-1976) project staff and sites are included.
