The purposes of this guidebook for secondary typewriting teachers are to provide information about common typewriting problems, to suggest alternative teaching strategies, and to explore new areas of concern. Contents include suggested performance objectives for the first and second year of typewriting instruction at the secondary level; procedures for implementing competency based instruction; and information on a variety of teaching strategies for both individualized and group instruction.
