This report was issued following a meeting of a working group convened at the request of the World Health Organization in order to obtain the views of educational and health administrators on the relevance of educational planning to health problems. The purposes of the group were to define the nature and scope of educational planning in relation to health services, to indicate the responsibilities of health administrations and educational systems in the education planning process, to suggest the functions and forms of organization of an educational planning service at national government levels, and to consider how educational institutions and health services might collaborate effectively in educational planning at regional or local levels.
