Delivering Library Services to an Aging Population.
Katz, Ruth M.
This study guide was prepared to assist library personnel in using the VINTAGE series, which consists of five color videocassette programs and two slide/sound shows on topics relating to public library services to the aging. The guide to these programs, which were designed for use in staff development programs and to promote community involvement, provides objectives, an outline, and suggested discussion topics for each program. Topics focus on problems of older people, including special needs; stereotypes; access to health, library, and other community services; and employment opportunities. A bibliography of materials on aging, legal and consumer issues, and barrier-free architecture is included. (JAB)
