This bibliography provides an overview of the literature on: the purposes of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act; the educational community's hopes, fears, and expectations regarding ESEA; descriptions of ESEA programs and projects; and evaluations of ESEA. It is not intended to be comprehensive, but rather to be illustrative of the literature on ESEA.
