A survey was conducted of teacher education institutions in the state of Arkansas to determine the present occupation of students who graduated in 1976-1977. Graduates were classified as elementary, secondary, and special education teachers; male and female; and by the institution they graduated from. Six areas of occupation were examined: (1) teaching in state; (2) teaching outside of state; (3) otherwise employed; (4) continuing formal study; (5) military service; and (6) homemaking. Results of the survey are presented in tabular form. The rank of each institution in each of the six categories explored is presented. (JD)
