The national Swedish Board of Universities and Colleges has initiated a program for the followup and evaluation of the higher education reform in Sweden. The program currently consists of six projects, with an additional three in the planning stage. They cover all of the problem areas given high priority by the national government: the organization of higher education; program funding and planning; activity evaluation; form and content of higher education; and the social effects of the reform, especially with regard to admission, nontraditional applicants, and male-female equality. The programs and their interrelationships are described and diagramed. (Author/MSE)
