"Shape Classifiers and Natural Categories," by S.G. Pulman, discusses the role of the dimension of "shape" in language classification. "What Might a Universal Theory of Cases Look Like?" by D.A. Kilby discusses the relationship between certain aspects of morphological form and the syntax and semantics of case relationships. "Theoretically Significant Word Order Patterns in Greenberg's (1963) Appendix II," by J.A. Hawkins, argues that this appendix, which contains classifications of languages according to 4 types of word order, provides valuable insights into universal principles of word order. (AM)
