Materials contained in this career education implementation booklet (one in a series of seven) suggest ways of conceptualizing and designing curriculum, motivating and training staff, and organizing local field testing. Major topics discussed are the following: conceptualizing and designing curriculum (career development as a conceptual framework, a developmental K-12 scope and sequence, student learning objectives); incentives for staff involvement (teachers as curriculum developers, as field testers, and as curriculum users; linking curriculum to staff development, career learning centers and community participation); and dissemination activities.
