Templeman, Dave; And Others
The report summarizes the status of 36 Oregon projects for preschool, elementary, and secondary handicapped children which were funded for the 1975-76 academic year under Title VI-B funds. Evaluations on each project usually provide the following information: title of project, location of project, population served, funding allocated, project beginning and ending dates, background and rationale, methodology, objectives, and third party evaluator's comments. Among entries are the following projects: A Comprehensive Regular Classroom Model for Emotionally Disturbed Children, Diagnostic-Prescriptive Center, Baker Area Education Center for the Handicapped, Child Neurology Clinic, Clatsop County Learning Disabilities Center, Coos Regional Program for Hearing Impaired Students, Education Evaluation Center, Homebound Handicapped Project, Resource Consultant for the Emotionally Handicapped, Mainstream Accomodation Services for the Handicapped, Resource Center for Gilcrest Schools, Intervention Class For Emotionally Disturbed Children, Learning Resource Center-Vale District #15, and HELP (Help Eliminate Language Problems). An introductory section explains the evaluation plan, reviews the results of Title VI Oregon projects, and outlines recommendations. (SBH)
