Staff Development Through Inservice Workshops in Testing for Teachers, Counselors and Principals.
Lile, Kurtis J.
Traditionally, tests administered in the Fremont, California Unified School District were selected by administrators at the district office level. For this practicum, a district selection committee, composed of certificated staff on all levels, reviewed and selected tests to be administered within the district. Testing workshops were conducted for teachers, counselors, and administrators on test interpretation, administration, and analysis. The relevancy of test data for teachers, counselors, and principals was also discussed. A testing handbook, which includes reference material designed for use in federally funded programs, and student diagnostic profiles, which aid in management of records, were developed. They are included in the appendices. (Author/MV)
