Selected information is displayed in the form of charts, tables, and graphs about: (1) the State Student Incentive Grant (SSIG) program and other state-level student financial assistance programs; (2) the primary state agency or organization responsible for administering these programs; and (3) the general state characteristics relating to student financial aid. A series of profiles give information in nine general areas: (1) office relationships and program responsibilities; (2) office program management; (3) consumer-oriented efforts; (4) brief program summaries; (5) criteria for determination of need, award size, etc.; (6) counts of eligibles, recipients, applicants, etc.; (7) program financing; (8) counts of state populations, students, and migration; and (9) state and federal financing of education.
