The Yearbook of Higher Education Law 1977.
Young, D. Parker
This book consists of six chapters, each focusing on a different area of higher education law. It is devoted entirely to recent court cases involving colleges and universities and is intended to complement the "Yearbook of School Law," which deals with elementary and secondary education. Each chapter reviews and analyzes state supreme court and federal court decisions relevant to one particular topic, drawing mainly on cases decided during the 1976 calendar year and reported in the General Digest as of March 1977. Topics of the individual chapters include governance, finance, property, tort liability, employees, and students. In addition to an extensive topical index, there is also a comprehensive table of cases that lists alphabetically all the cases examined in any of the articles. (JG)
