Proceedings are presented of a three-day national conference for providing members of the Indian community with information concerning opportunities for Indians under the new vocational education legislation. Brief summaries of addresses delivered during the general sessions are provided in part 1 and include such subjects as developing vocational education state plans, and the findings of the Task Force on American Indian Vocational Education. Part 2 contains summaries of workshop presentations which dealt with a variety of topics including program development, a planning model for Indian reservation development, a model tribally-operated vocational education program, and a review of federal programs in vocational education.
