This motorcycle repair curriculum guide contains the following ten areas of study: brake systems, clutches, constant mesh transmissions, final drives, suspension, mechanical starting mechanisms, electrical systems, fuel systems, lubrication systems, and overhead camshafts. Each area consists of one or more units of instruction. Each instructional unit includes some or all of the following components: performance objectives, suggested activities for teacher and students, information sheets, assignment sheets, job sheets, visual aids, tests, and answers to the test. Units are planned for more than one lesson or class period of instruction. Full-page illustrations and diagrams are presented throughout the guide. A list of the recommended tools and equipment necessary to complete the jobs required in the instructional units and an alphabetized list of publications used in completing the guide are also included.
