This report is a compilation of statistical information, comparison charts, programs, and long range goals and objectives for the Texas Trans-Pecos Library System, which is headquartered in the El Paso Public Library. The major goal is to make adequate library and information resources available to all residents of the nine counties in the region. Activities planned for support of the system objectives are consultant services, continuing education, collection development, non-book media, interlibrary loan, technical support services, communication, evaluation, budgeting, and administrative services. Information on proposed programs includes statement of purpose, description of actions, consequences of not approving programs, achievement from actions, quantitative program measurement, and alternatives. The 1976 and 1977 updates provide annual revision of statistical charts, discussion of goals and objectives accomplished, and consideration of future needs. (Author/JAB)
