This publication is the final interim report for an experimental program intended to plan, implement, and evaluate an educational voucher system in the New Hampshire communities of Allenstown, Candia, Deerfield, Hollis, Hooksett, and Salem. This particular report covers the period from July 1, 1975 to May 31, 1976. The first section of the publication consists of a relatively brief narrative report of different aspects of the voucher program during its final 11 months. This section is divided into five subsections that focus in turn on program monitoring, technical assistance, communications efforts, policy and systems development, and research design. Most of the publication consists of an extensive appendix that contains a variety of letters, memoranda, and the minutes of meetings involving the voucher program. A number of these documents refer to the Salem school district's decision in the fall of 1975 to join the original five districts involved in the program. (JG)
