Costing Educational Wastage: A Pilot Simulation Study. Current Surveys and Research in Statistics.
Berstecher, D.
This pilot simulation study examines the important methodological problems involved in costing educational wastage, focusing specifically on the cost implications of educational wastage in primary education. Purpose of the study is to provide a clearer picture of the underlying rationale and interrelated consequences of reducing educational wastage. Although the simulation approach used in the study is experimental, it follows closely the work on the statistical measurement of wastage carried out by UNESCO for the 1970 International Conference on Education.
