To gain information about the reported characteristics, operational functions, procedures, and service orientations of Educational Information Service sites, interviews were conducted with managerial personnel at 53 sites across the United States. Interview responses were coded to form 109 frequency rank ordered displays which are summarized, analyzed, and interpreted. This information site survey forms half of a larger study intended to provide guidance for decision making and planning at all levels in the United States Educational Information Service complex.
