Enrollments in Oklahoma higher education, fall semester 1976, are compared with the previous fall semester enrollments. A 1.3 percent increase in main and branch campus enrollments was found. Statistics are provided for various categories, including: geographic origin of students, distribution of enrollments in public and private institutions, student-credit-hours enrolled in, enrollment by class and sex, new correspondence and short-course enrollments in the state system, and enrollment of first-time-entering freshmen.
