Collective Negotiation Agreements for Administrators: An Analysis of 100 Contracts. ERS Report.

This publication reports and analyzes provisions of a representative sample of negotiated agreements between school boards and administrative bargaining units. The study was based on an analysis of the provisions found in sample contracts supplied by 100 selected school systems. This report analyzes 103 different types of contractual provisions that were identified, offers a general discussion of the contracts, and presents a summary of findings for the contracts analyzed. In addition, the appendix contains copies of two representative contracts that were negotiated by school boards and administrative bargaining units in Dartmouth, Massachusetts, and Jackson, Michigan.
