Job Competency Needs of Sanitarian Aides.
Pengra, H. C.
In the past decade, the job of sanitarian aide has come into existence. As with any new field, job descriptions vary greatly from employer to employer. The aim of this publication is to provide base data of benefit to persons developing curricula for sanitarian aide training programs; to employers; and sanitarian aides developing job responsibilities and duties. This publication is the result of a research study to determine this information. A questionnaire concerning competency need factors for sanitarian aides, sent out to Iowa and Nebraska personnel, provides the data for the list of standards presented in the book. Two appendices at the end of the book include a sample two-year curriculum for sanitarian aides and the survey instrument. (Author/MA)
