The Texas College and University System Coordinating Board is responsible for statewide planning and policies for Texas higher education. This report highlights and summarizes the work of the board from October, 1974 to May, 1975 in the areas of financial planning including development of formulas to provide adequate levels of financing and equitable distribution of monies for the operation of the state's higher education system; program development including the approval of new degrees and new programs; student services including loans, grants, and other financial assistance programs; and campus planning including the approval of new construction and real property acquisition, a student housing survey, and administration of federal programs. The supplement presents the comprehensive statistical data concerning higher education in Texas relating to student enrollments, program development and productivity, faculty salaries and teaching loads, campus development, finance, and the state student loan program.
