Easy-Test has been developed to produce computer generated criterion referenced tests on any of 300 subject areas at the secondary level. The tests are drawn from over 14,000 items, can be used for diagnostic purposes, and have been shown to be both valid and reliable. Among limitations of the system are the inclusion of some items not taught in a particular school, and the random format of item presentation. (DB)
