Olmstead, Joseph A.
This guide, prepared for the Department of the Army, presents fundamental information and basic techniques for the conduct of Performance Counseling by instructors, tactical officers, and other personnel who may be required to appraise the performance of students and to communicate the results of their appraisals to students. The purpose of Performance Counseling is to improve the performance of a student or to maintain an already existing desirable level of performance.
