The career awareness curriculum guide for grades 1-3 provides units of instruction for the subjects of language arts, social studies, science, mathematics, and health with each unit containing concepts, behavioral objectives, suggested learning activities, and suggested materials and resources for each of the three grades. An addtional unit on art is suitable for use with all three grades. The guide also provides career awareness pre- and posttests, a teacher survey form on career awareness, and a curriculum guide evaluation form for the teacher. An appendix contains sample forms and letters useful in career awareness programs, and a bibliography provides a 100-item job list for grades 1-3, a list of books for students in those grades, and a list of helpful pamphlets available to teachers.
