This booklet describes 38 projects funded during Fiscal Year 1974 by the Intradepartmental Committee on Child Abuse and Neglect. Projects include community prevention programs, child protection, family resource centers, mother-infant attachment, the demography of child abuse, and the effect of birth order on the mother-child relationship. Project descriptions are organized by funding agency. The principal investigator or project director is listed for each described project, and a brief synopsis of the purpose of the project is given. The history and goals of the Intradepartmental Committee on Child Abuse and Neglect are also briefly explained.
