A Computer-Based Content Analysis of Interview Data: Some Problems in the Construction and Application of Coding Rules.

The development of a technique for a computer-based content analysis of interview data is described. A preliminary version of ANACONDA (ANAlysis of CONcepts by DAta-processing) is presented, and empirical results are shown from the application of the technique by independent coders to test material. Proposed modifications and extensions of the system are also discussed. (DGC)
