With this volume, films have been added to the quarterly review of science books published by the American Association for the Advancement of Science. As is the case with books, films reviewed are coded to indicate the grade levels for which they are appropriate, and the level of recommendation (e.g., "two stars" to "not recommended"). Bibliographic and ordering information are provided for each film, as is a signed review. Books and films in all areas of science are reviewed, with a special section on children's books. (SD)
