The Tennessee Research Coordinating Unit (RCU) has implemented a computerized information retrieval system known as "Query," which allows for the retrieval of documents indexed in Research in Education (RIE), Current Index to Journals in Education (CIJE), and Abstracts of Instructional and Research Materials (AIM/ARM). The document provides easy access to those computer searches of the ERIC files which were completed during the period July 1973-June 1974 and to facilitate retrieval and use of both the computer searches and the documents listed within each search. Part A contains information for both the use of this index and the use of any computer search printout which the reader may desire to borrow from the RCU. Part B, an alphabetical subject index, enables the user to locate already completed computer searches of the ERIC files by topic area. Part C lists all searches, by number, and provides the following information about each search: the descriptors, or indexing terms, used; the group of files, or time period, which the search covers; the number of documents identified in the files; and the ERIC Clearinghouse(s) searched.
