The present bibliography contains nearly 150 selected references on "Problems, Planning and Delivery of Mental Health Services," published chiefly during 1950-1965 and over 175 selected references published chiefly during 1966-1973. The references listed in the bibliography are by no means definitive nor are they meant to be, but they represent many of the old and current publications which may be used as guides for further research. The bibliography is divided into two parts: Part "one" contains the listing of books and monographs and Part "two" is a listing of articles and periodicals. The references are arranged by the author in alphabetical order when possible. The references focus on such topics as mental health, manpower trends, human problems of a state mental hospital, formal organizations, clinical records for mental health services, relationships between cultural attitude toward individuality and care of the mentally ill, sensitivity training, critical issues in the use of physician associates and assistants, the community as a mentalhealth system, the role of community organizations in bargaining with the establishment for health care services, citizen influence health service programs, and other topics.
