Faculty of the approximately 175 college programs that are preparing Mental Health or Human Service Technicians or Associates at the A.A. level have been acquiring experience in using a wide range of teaching materials. This document is an attempt to share this knowledge and make a listing of those teaching resources that have been found most valuable. The listing is divided into five alphabetized categories: (1) books; (2) journals, newsletters, and journal articles; (3) films and filmstrips; (4) consultants and general resources; and (5) miscellaneous. Items are indexed categorically as well as alphabetically by subject. Annotations of materials listed include general comments as well as brief summaries. The listing should be particularly useful to college training program directors in planning a balanced program for their students. (Author/AH)
