Using an IBM 1401 computer with an 8,000 byte core capacity, the University of New Orleans has developed and is using an automated library acquisitions system. The system generates reports and documents that serve the library's administration, accounting, acquisitions, and serials staffs. Both monographic and serials acquisitions are processed through the system. A detailed description of the system, including flow charts and input forms, is given. (Author/DGC)
