This 116-item interview schedule designed for parents who failed to respond to the Questionnaire for Parents, is individually administered to the mother of the child of elementary school age. It consists of scales measuring 14 parent variables plus a section devoted to demographic variables: (1) parent's achievement aspirations for the child, (2) home learning environment, (3) parental concern and interest in child's education, (4) parental demand for maturity and independence, (5) quantity of TV, (6) parental restriction of TV, (7) parental activities, (8) resignation, (9) futility, (10) conservatism, (11) parental acceptance of child, (12) parental permissiveness, (13) parental restrictiveness, and (14) parent authority attitude.
