The student will study the ways that inductance affects voltage and current in Direct Current (DC) and Alternating Current (AC) circuits and why and how inductors cause these actions. The module is divided into six lessons: rise and decay of current and voltage, LR (inductive-resistive) time constant, using the universal TC (time constant) chart, inductive-reactance, relationships in inductive circuits, and phase relationships.
