It encompasses doctoral research on "Dropouts" reported in "Dissertation Abstracts International" from 1965 through June 1973. The citations are arranged in the following categories: Dropout Prediction; Dropout Prevention (Work Study Programs, Other Vocational Programs, Counseling Programs, and Other Programs); Characteristics of Dropouts; Characteristics of Potential Dropouts; and School Climate and Teacher Influence on School Holding Power. Under these categories, citations are presented in order of year of completion.
