Behavioral Objectives for Selected Units in Business Education.
Hill, Richard K., Ed.; Schmidt, B. June, Ed.
This is a catalog of behavioral objectives organized by units. Each unit contains an outline of the content, a goal statement, and general and specific objectives. The catalog contains a total of 48 units on: business behavior and psychology; business law; business math; business principles and organization; business terminology; communication and basic language skills; elements of fiscal records; introduction to office careers; money management; office machines, calculating, and duplicating; payroll records; receptionist-telephone training; recordkeeping; records management; secretarial procedures and practices; typewriting; correspondence and report writing; survey of data processing and special stenographic units. The purpose of each unit is three-fold: to provide a bank of objectives related to task analyses and job descriptions, to provide a bank of test items which could be used in statewide studies of program effectiveness, and to develop materials which could be used in the Behavioral Objectives Organized in a System for Teachers (BOOST) which is both a delivery system for objectives and a computer bank of test items associated with the objectives.
