This resource guide is a collection of recommended health education materials concerning the preschool child. It has been developed to strengthen and to expand the skills and knowledge of Head Start staff members, and to provide them with communication tools to reach preschool children and parents of preschoolers on the importance of the health dimension of growth and development. Listings have been divided into four sections: Dental, Growth and Development, Medical, and Nutritional, with each section subdivided into publications and visual aids.
