A set of nine teacher-prepared Learning Activity Packages for individualized instruction at the eleventh grade level in United States history includes the following units: Development of an Effective National Government; the Growth of Nationalism and Democracy, 1800-1840; Sectional Differences Lead to Civil War; Reconstruction and Growth in the U.S., 1865-1890; Reform in America, 1890-1945; U.S. International Relations, 1890-1945; Governmental Influence on the American Economy, 1945-present; and Reform in America, 1945-present. The materials, written at 11th grade level, are particularly suited for average students who may be interested in college, technical, or business school, and who will do an average amount of studying.
