This report presents the results of the annual survey of the geographic origins or permanent residences of all credit course students attending institutions of the State University of New York during the fall 1972 term. The tables of this report are formated to provide geographic origin information on numbers of graduate and undergraduate students both full-and part-time. Tables provided show the numbers of students at each New York State college by county in the state, other state, or foreign country. In another part of the report, this same permanent residence information is arrayed by county, state, and country. In addition, summary tables and percentage trends tables are included which are discussed in the summary. Definitions of terms used in this report are provided in the glossary. (Author/MJM)
