Intercultural communication is defined in this paper as communication among persons of different cultures and is discussed in terms of cultural variance with regard to perceptions, intuitions, feelings, and emotions. Pscyhological studies, as well as the author's experiences, are cited in support of the theories. Two pantomimes are suggested to demonstrate the division of the brain: in the first, one figure represents the right half of the brain (Goldmund), and the other figure represents the left half (Narziss); the second mime is designed to represent three different kinds of self-concepts, each one representing a different adaptation of the two kinds originally portrayed in the first pantomime of Goldmund and Narziss.
