A series of activities on the theme of peace were developed by a kindergarten teacher with the belief that the study of peace should begin at the kindergarten level with learning to love. Ten activities follow a format of objective, theme, suggested books, film strips, songs, list of things to make and do, and evaluation suggestions. Objectives to be achieved are the following: to develop a child's ability to relate to other children; to encourage children to feel for one another; to allay feelings of anxiety; to develop a feeling of self worth and appreciation of family; to help children become aware of angry feelings and to think about their own families; to explore and enlarge the concept of family; to encourage an innate sense of fair play and justice; and to celebrate the fun of working and playing together.
