This yearbook continues a series that has given a concise reference and analysis of school law decisions to school administrators, school attorneys, school board members, and others who need to know the latest court decisions affecting school operations. Its seven chapters summarize and analyze all of the 1972 Federal and State Supreme Court decisions that affect schools. Each chapter was written by an authority in a particular area of school law. The areas covered are (1) school districts and educational administration; (2) school finance; (3) pupils; (4) teachers and school employees; (5) school property; (6) tort liability of school districts, officers, and employees; and (7) higher education.
