The manual, one of several resulting from a project to design planning procedures for local and State vocational education agencies, contains a variety of materials used in workshops, orientations, and briefings during the development of the Vocational Education Planning System. Two sections are particularly detailed: An Approach to the Vocational Education Application Selection Using Linear Programming by Charles I. Goldman, and examples of visuals used in a project summary presentation, Spring 1971. Other sections include: a plan for disseminating the system, an outline of the process for planning at the State level, a project summary, and items from a presentation to a county coordinating council on implementing a planning system.
