The National Evaluation of Project Follow Through: 1967-1968.

Twenty-nine projects evaluated during the 1967-68 school year in the national evaluation of Project Follow Through are discussed in this final report. The report provides, in a narrative format, only the "hard" data gathered during the pre-test period. Specifically, this report reviews relevant literature, describes the procedures and instruments utilized in the evaluation, analyzes the proposals from each project, provides prelimary analysis of "hard" data, and, in some detail, analyzes the "soft" data. The chapters of the report are as follows: l. Introduction; II. Review of Literature (Description of Population, Description of the Teachers of the Population, Review of Programs); III. Rationales for Evaluation Techniques (Instrument Selection, Population Identification, Environmental Data, Site Visits, Test Administration, Feedback); IV. Design Implementation (Population Identification, Testing, Data Analysis); V. Consequences: Anticipated and Unanticipated (Instrument Selection, Population Identification, Environmental Data, Site Visits, Test Administration, Feedback); VI. Data Results (Pre-test, Environmental Questionnaire, Process); VII. Impressions and Implications.
