This bulletin, the first in a series on leadership, is a guide for leaders of organizations, to the nature and operation of committees. Contributions and advantages of committees are enumerated, and types of committees are described. Guidelines are given for selecting a committee, instructing it, committee operation, and acting on a committee report.
